Ok, since AWS did not yet release the support for MAX 2027 in deadline, here is a non offical and partial release for 3dsMAX 2027.
=>3dsMAX CMD (Backburner mode), will be fully supported.
=>3dsMAX (non CMD, SMTD), is partially support → missing the lightening pluggin, so it will not work until AWS release it.

You could ask for the lightening plugin support here: https://forums.thinkboxsoftware.com/t/3ds-max-2027-update/33968

Hey Marco, do you think you can test the Max 2027 integration if i give you the lighting dlx plugin for 3ds Max 2027 ?
of course, catch you on FB mp
Hi,spacefrog . I also can test the dlx plugins, can you send the plugin to my mailbox .
thanks xbl0110 for the offer
This was a test for a “hacked” dlx to make it work in Max 2027, but it early turned out to be crashing
So the whole experiment did’nt turn out to be working ( was pretty unlikely from the beginning anyways ) …
using the slient mode to test ,in the slavermode ,3dsmax will be crashed .
3dsMAX cmd (3dsmaxcmd.exe) will work, but since Lightening pluggins is definied using a “magic sauce”, to make it work when 3dsMAX is running in server (3dsMAX.exe -s), we will have to wait for a official recompil from Thinkbox, or to cook ourself a Lightening “lite” pluggin, exposing some MXS feature for compatiblity issue (Deadline Utility), and some feature to drive the basic function we need…
Sadly this will take time to do it, and lot of test, as we COULD NOT reverse engineer the actual lightening Daemon, since Deadline “on premise” is Free source, but not Open Source…
