Popup handling issues Max2023.1, Corona8, Deadline 10.1.22.5

There still seems to be an issue in popup handling in the most recent release (fresh installation of repository, client and max plugins)

Here’s a job report of a failed job: https://pastebin.com/4yiX2Kh3
And the same job without popup handling, which ran fine: https://pastebin.com/hdAUMPS7

Can share the file too if it helps.

Also I encountered an issue with the submitter installer being unable to run deadlinecommand.exe although manually executing “%DEADLINE_PATH%\deadlinecommand” was successful. So I had to copy both submission client files manually. Am I wrong in believing those are unrelated issues?

Using the 3dsmax.py available here 3ds Max 2023 Support - #28 by MarcoA still seems to fix it though.

I think the Script Listener dialog is not explicitly ignored.
The easiest workaround is to close the Script Listener, save your scene, and submit again. But yeah, it can also be added to the list of ignored popups.

Script Listener isn’t opened in max. Never has been in this fresh almost minimal installation of Max nor any of the submitted scenes - that is at least not manually. So I assume the Listener Popup itself is caused by Deadline too.

Then it might be popping up to display an error?

At least not long enough for me to see it when looking at the worker - even with popup handling disabled. Can’t spot anything in the Max.log either. I’m thinking it might get triggered by the Mini Listener but I can’t figure out how to close it to find out.
